Disney Magic in Galveston Texas #DCLTexas

We got ourselves a little taste of Disney down south, friends!

Disney Cruise Line has added Galveston as a port of departure to the Western Caribbean and Bahamas. One of the oldest ports on the gulf coast, the historic city of Galveston is located around 50 miles south of Houston, Texas.

I may not live in Texas but Louisiana peeps, it’s a short 5 hour drive to get to the Port of Galveston!

To say that I’m excited about taking a media trip with my family and fellow bloggers aboard the Disney Magic would be an understatement. I have been useless since I received word that I would be part of this magical 7 day voyage!

We will be at sea for two full days before visiting Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel, on day 5 we get one more full day at sea before we head back to Galveston.

Somebody, pinch me please!

The Disney Magic has 11 decks, 2,700 passengers can fit comfortably, and 950 Cast and Crew Members are on hand to accommodate the needs of each and every Guest, day and night!

The boys have been giddy with excitement and practicing their best Pirate roar for “Pirate Night” . This will be our  first Cruise and we can’t wait for some relaxation,  fun,  great food, treats {milk and cookies in our room} and entertainment like only Disney can do! Rubbing elbows with Mickey Mouse in the middle of the Caribbean, priceless!

I can’t wait to share our adventures with you upon my return! Until then… See you real soon!
