What will Twitter come up with next to keep up with the ever expanding Facebook and Google+?    {Video Gallery?}

Images in the gallery come from photos shared in your tweets via Twitter, yFrog, TwitPic, Instagram and other image sharing services supported in Twitter’s details pane.

 Twitter Galleries:

• User galleries on Twitter aggregate the images you’ve uploaded in your Tweets
• Gallery preview / slide can be found on Twitter profile page.
• View All link will open the full gallery in a pop up window.
• Gallery can be viewed in Grid View or Detail view with tweet attached.
• Twitter gallery will display up to 100 most recent images in your Tweets, in chronological order.
• Twitter pics in gallery will only go back as far as  Jan 1, 2010.
• If photo is black, it has not yet loaded, patience grasshopper.
• To delete your pic from the gallery, you must delete your tweet.

From the looks of my Gallery, I am obviously Twitter pic happy. Well Tweeps, no need to hold back now, get to clicking and share your shots on Twitter!

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Will Twitter become less about what we say and more about Instagraming? I personally like it because I am a visual person but I am sure many will look down upon Twitter for trying to stay competitive and or giving in to peer pressure from the Big Boys.
